TRACKING AND REPORTS
The monthly report, from work already done
Badgerfly's Reports module is an SEO reporting tool for agencies and SEO teams. It builds a report from what the other modules already collected, so making one uses no tokens. Drag blocks onto pages, add your logo, then download a PDF, share a link or repeat it monthly.

Four modules in this group
| Module | What it does |
|---|---|
| Position Tracker | Daily rankings that say whether each number was checked, estimated or held. |
| AI Visibility | Whether AI assistants mention the business, and the visits they send. |
| Alerts | What changed across every project, once a day. |
| Reports | Branded reports from data you already have, shared by link or sent monthly. |
Start from a template, or a blank page
Every report starts from one of four templates or an empty page:
- Monthly SEO overview
- Local SEO
- Technical audit
- Rankings and backlinks
A template is a starting point, not a fixed layout. Move, remove or add blocks until the report says what the business you work for needs to hear.

Blocks, not screenshots
A report is made of blocks: charts, tables, headline numbers and your own text. Because this SEO reporting tool sits in the same workspace as the audits, trackers and backlink checks, each block reads the data the modules already hold for the project. There is nothing to copy across and no screenshot to crop. Add a paragraph that explains the month, set the page size, and preview it before it goes out.
Automated SEO reporting, without re-running anything
Three ways to send a report:
To report on a new month by hand, Duplicate for this month copies a report with the month in its name; its numbers are read fresh when it is opened.
- Download a PDF.
- Share a link. The link opens the PDF without signing in. Turn the link off and it stops working at once.
- Repeat monthly. A fresh PDF is made at the start of each month from the data already collected. It runs nothing new and uses no tokens.
What the business receives
In the beta, reports carry your logo and colours with no Badgerfly watermark, so they are white label SEO reports you can hand over as your own work. Audit PDFs from Site Audit carry your branding too, and share links and monthly repeats are included.
The sample report was made for a made-up agency and a made-up business, so you can see every page before building your own.

Alerts: what changed, once a day
Once a day, after rankings update, Badgerfly scans the data it already has and raises alerts for:
- ranking moves, up or down
- new competitors in the top three
- site health changes
- new and lost links
- new reviews
- broken connections
Rules decide what counts and how large a change has to be, and a new workspace starts with the common rules on. Each alert names the project and links to where the change shows. Checking costs no tokens, and alerts can be sent to a webhook. Workspace alerts cover the account itself, such as a Google connection that needs reconnecting. The result is simple: you hear about a problem before the business you work for does, and the month's alerts tell you what the report needs to explain.

Rankings that say where each number came from
Position Tracker checks a site's Google rankings for chosen keywords on a schedule. Every day's number is marked Checked (a live check that day), Estimated (worked out from Search Console between live checks) or Held (the last known position carried forward), so a report never passes off a guess as a measurement. Mentions in AI answers
AI Visibility puts a set of questions the business's customers would ask to several AI assistants and AI search features, and records when the business is mentioned or cited. With Google Analytics connected, it also shows the visits that arrived from AI assistants and the pages they landed on, and a report can show those visits by assistant. See how AI Visibility works

What it costs
Building, downloading, sharing and repeating a report use no tokens, and neither does checking for alerts; rank checks and AI Visibility runs are what cost. How tokens work
Questions
Can reports carry my agency's branding?
Yes. In the beta, reports and audit PDFs carry your logo and colours, with no watermark.
Does a report re-run the audits and checks?
No. A report reads what the modules have already collected, so building one, or repeating it monthly, uses no tokens.
Can someone read a report without a Badgerfly account?
Yes. A share link opens the PDF without signing in, and turning it off stops it at once.
How do alerts reach me?
In the app, with an unread count beside Alerts in the sidebar, and they can be sent to a webhook.
