ABOUT BADGERFLY
One workspace for the SEO work you do across every site
Badgerfly is an SEO platform for agencies, freelancers and in-house SEO teams. It brings the jobs that usually take several separate tools into one workspace: technical site audits, keyword and competitor research, content planning, backlinks, local SEO, rank tracking, AI search visibility and reports. Badgerfly is made by Geeks and Me LLC, a Mississippi company, and is in a private beta. Its two co-founders are Zach Gosnell (SEO and product) and Connor Sorey (engineering).

The app is organised around the project: one business and its site. You add a project once and fill in its profile (name, address, phone, category, service areas, competitors), and every module reads that profile instead of asking again. A dashboard then shows every project side by side: site health, rankings, alerts and what is scheduled.
There are 21 modules in seven groups, laid out in the order the work is usually done: Dashboard, Site Audit, Research, Content, Backlinks, Local SEO, and Tracking and Reports.
Who it is for
SEO practitioners: agencies looking after many sites, freelancers with a handful, and in-house teams working on their own. The app calls each business a project, so it reads correctly whether the site is yours or one you look after for someone else.
It suits people who want the work explained in plain words. Scores come with the reason behind them, help tips define every term, and a guide to each module sits inside the app.
Three ideas that run through it
Every number says where it came from
A ranking is marked Checked (a live check that day), Estimated (worked out from Search Console between checks) or Held (the last known position carried forward). A result that could not be measured says "not measured" rather than showing a zero, and estimates are labelled as estimates.
You always see the cost first
Paid work is priced in tokens. Every button that spends them states the cost beside it before you press it, and nothing paid starts without a button. Looking at results you already have is free, and a failed run is refunded.
Results lead to the next step
Each result ends with what to do next: track these keywords, add this to a report, fix these three issues first.
How it is built
- Honest about uncertainty. "Estimated", "not measured" and "held" are words the app uses on purpose. A number it cannot stand behind is not shown as if it could.
- Read-only Google access. Search Console and Analytics connect with one read-only approval. Disconnecting cancels the access at Google and keeps the data already imported.
- Workspaces kept separate. One workspace cannot see another's projects, lists, trackers, audits or reports.
- A crawler that behaves. BadgerflyBot identifies itself, obeys robots.txt and stays within the page limit you set. Site owners can read exactly what it does. About BadgerflyBot
Where it stands
Badgerfly is built and runs end to end. The first release is an invite-only beta: beta accounts are free, with a monthly allowance for real audits, research and tracking, and no cost to the tester at any point. All we ask for is honest feedback.
