FEATURES

Professional SEO tools, from audit to report

Badgerfly is a suite of professional SEO tools for agencies, freelancers and in-house SEO teams. It has 21 modules in seven groups, from the first site audit to the monthly report, all working on the same project. Add a site once and every module reads it.

Badgerfly dashboard close-up: project cards with health, AI health, keywords, pages and alerts, and the projects that need a look first

Built around the project

A project is one business and its site, and its profile holds who the business is: name, address, phone, category, service areas, competitors, and any former names or old listing addresses. Every module reads that shared profile, which is what makes Badgerfly an SEO suite rather than a stack of separate tools, and each one gets sharper as the profile fills in.

The 21 modules, by group

Site Audit

Where most work starts: what is wrong with a site, and what to fix first.

  • Site Audit A technical health check with the problems in the order to fix them, plus a separate score for AI search health.
  • Standalone Runs A Site Audit, Backlink Audit or Citation Audit on any site or business, without making a project.
See the Site Audit group →

Research

What any domain ranks for, and the keywords worth targeting.

  • Domain Overview Any domain's search traffic, keywords, links and competitors on one screen.
  • Keyword Research The searches people make around a keyword, with volume, difficulty and intent.
  • Keyword Gap The keywords competitors rank for and the project does not.
  • Keyword Lists Keywords saved from research and planning, kept by project, ready to export or track.
See the Research group →

Content

What each page should target, what to write next, and how a draft measures up.

  • Page Keyword Map Which keywords each page should target, plus blog topics people are already asking about.
  • Topic Cluster Planner A ranked content plan: the main pages, the pages that support them, and a keyword for each.
  • Content Score Grade a draft against the pages already ranking, and see what it is missing.
  • Keyword Cannibalization → Find the pages on a site that compete with each other, and the fix for each.
See the Content group →

Backlinks

The links a site has, the links it could have, and the ones it is losing.

  • Backlink Audit → Every link to the site scored for risk, and the disavow file built from your decisions.
  • Backlink Gap Sites that link to competitors and not to the project.
  • Link Prospector → Guest posts, resource pages, sponsorships and more worth asking, nationwide or town by town.
  • Backlink Monitor → Know when the site gains a link, loses one, or a link you paid for disappears.
See the Backlinks group →

Local SEO

Five modules that read the same business profile.

  • Google Business Profile The Google listing checked against the businesses that outrank it, with the fixes in order.
  • Citation Audit The name, address and phone checked across the major directories.
  • Local Rank Heatmap → The business's Google Maps rank at every point across its service area.
  • Local Competitors The businesses outranking it on the map, side by side.
  • Market Sentiment What customers in the market praise and complain about, from their reviews.
See the Local SEO group →

Tracking and Reports

Rankings, AI answers, what changed, and the report that sums it up.

  • Position Tracker → Daily rankings that say whether each number was checked, estimated or held.
  • AI Visibility → Whether AI assistants mention the business, and the visits they send.
  • Alerts What changed across every project, once a day.
  • Reports Branded reports from data you already have, shared by link or made fresh each month.
See the Tracking and Reports group →

Dashboard

Where the day starts.

  • Dashboard Every project in the workspace on one screen, with the ones that need a look first.
  • Project Overview One project at a glance: site health, rankings over 90 days, AI visibility and its alerts.
See the Dashboard group →

What runs through every module

Every number says where it came from

Rankings are marked Checked (a live check that day), Estimated (worked out from Search Console between live checks) or Held (the last known position carried forward). Estimates are labelled as estimates, and a result that could not be measured says "not measured" rather than showing a zero.

The cost before you run it

Paid work is priced in tokens, and every button that spends them states the cost beside it. A failed run is refunded, and reopening a result you already have is free. How tokens work

One screen, one button

Every module opens the same way: the project it will run for, one headline that says what you get, one button, and the cost beside it. Finished results are kept, so last month's audit or scan is still there to compare against.

Every result ends with the next step

Track these keywords, add this to a report, fix these three issues first. Results point to the module that picks the work up, so research does not stall between tools.

Exports

Results export to CSV, content plans to Excel, and audits and reports to PDF. In the beta, reports and audit PDFs carry your own branding, with no watermark.

Google, read-only

A workspace connects Google Search Console and Google Analytics with one read-only approval, and can connect several Google accounts, each project using whichever one can read its property. Connecting is optional: it adds the site's real search data and lowers the cost of rank tracking.

Daylight and Nightfall

Work in the light theme (Daylight) or the dark one (Nightfall). Helper Mode adds extra hints for anyone new to a module, and every term has a help tip that says what it means.

Workspaces stay separate

Your projects, lists, trackers, audits and reports belong to your workspace. No other workspace can see them.
